Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst - Freight to join our TEAM! As the Financial Analyst - Freight, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as accounting, reporting and analysis for business unit, perform monthly account reconciliations, and drive cost savings reporting

Primary Objective
- Will partner with the director of logistics finance in providing accurate and timely freight accounting and reporting. Drive cost savings through data.
Major Function and Scope
- Perform the financial close process, making sure the financial reporting is timely and accurate
- Track and calculate KPIs
- Identify opportunities for reducing cost or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.
- Analyze performance of key business segments to ensure optimal performance throughout the SBU.
- Prepare various ad hoc reports and provides detailed analysis of data as requested by operations management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA and CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience preferred, open to recent graduates.

- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Experience or strong interest in Big Data and reporting tools preferred.
