Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our TEAM!  As the CNC Machinist/Programmer, we need someone who is ready to set up, program, and operate milling, lathe, and other machinery.

Primary Objective

Primary objective of this position is to create and produce metal parts for the repair of mechanical equipment as well as other equipment.

Major Function and Scope

Program, set up, and operate CNC milling lathe or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.

Utilizes G code and CAM software, (MasterCAM, CAMWorks, HSMWorks or others).

Utilizes 2D and 3D modeling software, (AutoCAD and Fusion 360 preferred).

Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers and micrometers) to take accurate measurements, both in standard and metric.

Experience using manual mills and lathes.

Follows standard operating and safety procedures.

Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas.

Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
5+ years of industrial CNC machinist and CAM programming experience.

1-2 years of manual machining experience.

Competencies

Ability to read and understand procedures in English.

Ability to use machinist tools and other precision instruments (standard and metric).

Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.

Proficient computer skills.

Willingness to learn and use Fusion 360.
